Sing Christmas

The Kids' showy, theatrical delivery of songs like "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "The Twelve Days of Christmas" is either cute or cutesy, depending on your tastes and frame of mind; their simpler approach on tracks like "Sleigh Ride" and "Jingle Bells" wears much better. The original songs range from the decent ("We Need a Little Christmas") to the embarrassing (the album-closing "Christmas Gift Rap"). Overall, the Broadway Kids' Sing Christmas is a mostly festive, entertaining singalong collection tailor-made for kids who also want to appear on stage.
