Framework is a brand new label from Switzerland that makes an impressive first foray into the dance world with a brilliant brace of tracks from Domo. Little is known about production duo Domo yet, but on the evidence of this they clearly have a very rich understanding of how to make organic sounding house that is fresh and original. Crossover is a perfectly summery, loose limbed deep house cut with rich melodies and inviting, long legged bass. Full of trilling keys and sun kissed chords, its a languid but infectious affair that really opens the account in some style. Crossunder is then a more late night, driving deep house cut with lo-fi drums, grumbling bass and heads down intent. Still, though,a strong sense of melody adds light to the dark and really means this one finds a place in both head and heart. This is a superbly strong start to the Framework journey, and one that welcomes a hot new production talent to the world at the same.
