Kamnesia
by Jon AzpiriVeteran L.A. rapper Kam has decided that he has been ignored for too long. After garnering acclaim for his underground work, Kam hits listeners with Kamnesia, a calculated attempt to reach a mass audience that is surprisingly successful. On Kamnesia, Kam changes his musical approach, providing club-friendly tracks such as "Where I Come From" and "Bang Bang," a remake of Sister Nancy's dancehall classic "Bam Bam." Although the sound may have changed, Kam's militant lyrics remain true to his underground roots. Kam's mix of politically charged lyrics with banging beats makes Kamnesia difficult to forget.
