Les Tentations

Signed to the powerful V2 label, Passi takes a literate and stylized approach to rapping. For instance, all of his rhymes are printed out legibly in the lyric sheet so you can study his words, and there are many evocative photos alongside the lyrics to help illustrate Passi's persona. Unlike most of his American peers, this French rapper is more interested in introspection than partying, resulting in Les Tentations being a relatively serious album rather than a lighthearted listen.
