Back From The Rave: Volume 2

THE EP This is the brand new release from Rachel Ellektra and the last this year from Axis Trax! We bring you a festive treat with 4 tracks (5 including the dub of 'Be Together) that will hopefully give something for everyone! Each track has a different flavour with a mix of Tech-Tribal, Electro, Breaks and Vocal House. This is the second instalment from the hugely successful 'Back From The Rave EP' earlier this year. The series sees Rachel going back to her roots as she started as a DJ in 1991 and producing in 1992. The EP's include tracks that are all brand new and 100% original but are made to sound as if they are remixes of rave classics. All the sounds and old skool techniques have been used but brought right up to date to fit into today's sets! 3 of the tracks are pure rave style with random samples and breakdowns reminiscent of labels like Rabbit City, Production House, Rhythm Section Records. The 4th is more in the Italian piano house style and features vocals written and performed by Francesca, better know for her recent collab with Adam Nics on 'The Message'. The Axis Team x A BRIEF 2009 BIOG 2009 has been a huge year for Rachel Ellektra, so much so in fact that this only her 2nd solo release in 12 months! Her reputation as a remixer, producer and co-writer has continued to rise month on month and has seen her rack up over 70 remixes in 2009 alone for artists such as Joyce Sims, Park & Hussey, White Knights, Pete Doyle, Ronnie Canada and Onionz. Rachel refuses to be pigeon-holed with one genre and has provided production and remixes covering tech, electro, funky, tribal, progressive, breaks, garage, techno and even drum & bass! In addition to that Rachel's multi-instrumentalist musical background combined with her production work have led her co-writing and collaborating with many talented artists and songwriters and she's had the honour and pleasure of working with some amazing people including Peyton, Angie Brown, Jason Gardiner, Belle Erskine and Laura Cyganik.
