Loving You

Australian Country artist HELS announces the release of her new single and video ‘Loving You’ on April 14, 2016. The single is the second track released from her debut album ‘Pictures’, due for release in May, 2016. The single, and much of the album is a collaboration with Sydney based producer Michael Carpenter (Shane Nicholson, The April Family, Bob Corbett Band, Jonah’s Road among many others) and was recorded at Love Hz Studios. Though a late bloomer, Hels has made the most of the last few years as a developing country artist. Her long time passion for the sound of international country artists like Keith Urban, The Dixie Chicks and Australia’s Kacey Chambers is evident in the new single, and the subsequent album. Her writing focuses on reflections of her personal journey as a young woman, culminating in the new single ‘Loving You’, an ode to joy of finding THE ONE. Hels began writing and recording for the album back in 2013. Her first single ‘You Got In’ (2014) received good airplay around the country and was added to rotation on CMC. As her recording developed she ventured into live performances doing many shows and festivals. She amassed 18 recorded songs for the album, resulting in the final 14 that made the cut. “I don’t know how I existed before music.
