In the winter of 2023, I recalled the beautiful times I spent with my old friends and the emotions of parting, and remembered this song. In the past two years, my life trajectory has completely changed, and I don't know where my old friends toil. I had mixed feelings, so I picked up my pen and wrote my heartfelt words as new lyrics, and opened a project file that I hadn't used in a long time to create a new version of "You're Not Everything". I hope that in the days of separation, both you and I can live peacefully and happily. This is what I do want to express through this song.
