Nikka is Black-V Neck's first release and it does not disappoint. This tune packs a massive punch, crisp claps and hats. It has a massive bass-line that keep the track grooving accompanied by subtle Chicago style house chords. Nikka picks things up with a hypnotic osculating drone, expressive vocal chops and vocal phrases. Chiappex also offers his take on Nikka. His remix is a great accompaniment to this release. With its bouncing bass line, and riveting sweeps throughout, this remix keeps the listeners engaged. Further into this remix, Chiappex introduced elements of experimental percussion which pulls heavy on the techno side. Nikka culminates everything you love about Tech-House into a tight package, This being Black-V Neck's first release shows promise of what's to come.
