Inquest

After seeing several jazzy hip hop crews get albums released in Japan, we were excited to get our feet wet in that market. After getting ignored by a few labels, we were approached by P-Vine Records out of Tokyo after one of their A&Rs discovered our music through CD Baby. They proposed putting out a hybrid album of their favorite tracks from Conquest and Invasion, but needed a name. We took the IN from Invasion and the QUEST from Conquest to create Inquest. It was not only our Japanese debut, it was our first album released by a legitimate label... and coincidentally many people from around the world learned about DFE through web-rips of the album or the P-Vine compilations many of the songs were featured on.
