The xx发表的同名专辑足有一年的时间了，凭借此专辑乐队也取得了非常好的成绩。在这过去年一年当中，xx专辑中的曲目也被许多著名的DJ/电子音乐人进行Remix, 之前在 这里 也有发布过曲目Shelter混音版, 那是来自巴塞罗那DJ John Talabot的混音创作. 最近来自英国伦敦的电子艺人Four Tet （Kieran Hebden）为曲目VCR创作了一首近9分钟的混音版。 “Four Tet is latest in line to remix The XX, dropping a lithe, discofied version of ‘VCR’ on a one-sided pressing. There’s seemingly not a week that goes by without a new Four Tet remix but he’s not slacking with this material, sprinkling the trio with his magic kraut-disco dust for a warm and twinkly piece of dancefloor pop with his trademark crisp drums and charming synthlines cushioning the vocal.
