Diskjokke is back with a future disco extraordinaire two-tracker on Oslo label badabing.diskos His musical works since 2006 includes escapades on Prins Thomas's ´Full Pupp´, indie label´Smalltown Supersound´, minimal house label ´Kindisch´ and the legendary norwegian space house label ´Luna Flicks´. His three superb album releases and remixes of indie acts such as Metronomy and The XX has certainly made his mark on the scene, always led by his complex, weird and wonderful take on club music; melodic and cinematic, but always with house clubs in mind. Diskjokke has played everywhere from Panoramabar Berlin to Space Ibiza and Liquid Room Tokyo. ´Hear no evil´ is an electro funk house banger, where tention is drawn from minimal dub disco randomness, heavy on the 2´s and 4´s, to the reliefing melodic patterns that makes the classic Diskjokke-sound. ´Blaa´ takes you deep into space, presenting a static universe where the funk is randomly drawn from vacum. Dubbed out disco house from planets yet to be found. This EP brings a completely new take on club music, allthough honoring its inspirations from funk, disco, dub and house in its finest ways.
