James Galway & The Chieftains in Ireland

James Galway is one of the most successful "crossover" artists around, generally managing to produce albums that appeal to a broader than purely "classical" audience but doing it tastefully and with a musical integrity that has earned him the respect of classical specialists and critics. This collection of Irish folk music and popular song is a case in point, consisting of pieces Galway clearly cares about and that he plays with complete sincerity and warmth.
