Christmas

by Bradley TorreanoRaul DiBlasio's Christmas is a Latin-flavored collection of holiday songs performed on piano and keyboard. DiBlasio is a very talented pianist, and his talents are showcased well here. Unfortunately, most of the music on this collection is very average, making for a disappointing listen overall. The music occasionally gets good, as on "White Christmas" and "Carol of the Bells," where the quality of the performance overtakes the bland arrangement. But mostly this is a dull, unimaginative album that may be of interest to his fans, but that is probably it.
