Die Zeit Edition-Legenden Des Soul
Review by Andy Kellman Released through the German wing of Universal, Legenden des Soul is a series of '60s/'70s-oriented anthologies that compile major and minor hits from marquee R&B artists. The volumes consist of original recordings and were made available as compact discs and as digital downloads. The 20-track set dedicated to Diana Ross & the Supremes covers much of the group's most popular material, including "Come See About Me," "Stop! In the Name of Love," "Reflections," "You Keep Me Hangin' On," and "My World Is Empty Without You." Like most of the other Motown-related volumes, this provides a decent, if imperfect, overview.
