MONO、WOWOW『かなたの子』の書き下ろしテーマ曲「kanata」がiTunesで配信. MONO has been chosen to write a theme song for a Japanese drama series called "Kanatanoko" on WOWOW. Since the offer, MONO has started writing the song and the audio engineer Fred Weaver who has dealt with "For My Parents" visited Japan to make the recording possible. The song is called "Kanata". As well as the theme song, MONO has also written and recorded various soundtracks throughout the series. Drama will be broadcasted on December 1st at 10:00pm, which will be spread out to total of 4 episodes. The director Tatsushi Ohmori is famous for such series as Sayonara Keikoku and Mahoro Ekimae Tada Benriken, and the script is written by Izumu Takahashi who is known for such series as Ningen Konchuuki and Soranin. The original story "Kanata No Ko" was written by one of the best seller authors Mitsuyo Kakuta who has won numerous awards including Naoki award. The original literature for this drama has also received an award called Izumikyou Kabungakusyo.
