Love, In a Song
* In the words of actor/comedian Ricky Tomlinson, "Charlie Landsborough is another of those singing sensations who found overnight success and stardom in only just under 30 years!!". Charlie has gone onto become a global, multi-million selling recording Artist. * He `shot' to fame in 1995 when he was featured on prime-time Irish TV, singing what has become his signature song "What Colour Is The Wind". The song subsequently reached # 1 on the Irish charts, leading to success in Scotland and the rest of the UK, before spreading to Australia and the US. He has recorded albums in Nashville, won many Country music awards and has had his songs covered by legends including George Hamilton IV, Daniel O'Donnell, Jack Jones, Pat Boone, and Foster & Allen. * "Love, In A Song", which was recorded in Spain and the UK, features 17 new recordings and includes some of the all-time classics, such as `I Only Have Eyes For You', `Miss You Nights', `I Don't Want To Talk About It' and `The Wind Beneath My Wings', as well as some less obvious songs such as Bob Dylan's `To Make You Feel My Love' and Jim Croce's `I'll Have To Say I Love You In A Song'. Coincidentally, the Dylan song was recorded long before it made an appearance during 2010's `X' Factor! There's also a nod to Charlie's hometown, with a cover of The Beatles `And I Love Her'. * Charlie will be undertaking press and promotion activities around the country coinciding with his 14-date Spring Tour, which runs from 17th March until 10th April. * "Love, In A Song" is Charlie at his very best and he has also brought a contemporary feel into the recordings to contrast with his traditional and much loved sound.
