Urban Wilderness

RIA Award winner Alex Lloyd has announced after 5 years living and working in the UK he’s set to return to Australia with a brand new single and the launch of a Pledge Campaign to complete the release of his sixth studio album titled ‘Urban Wilderness’. With the launch of the Pledge Music campaign comes Alexs first single release from the new album, an upbeat pop track ‘Better The Less You Know’. Describing the concept for the video, Alex said “My idea for this video was very simple … grab an iPod and a set of headphones and head out into the wilderness and simply document the reactions of people listening to the song. I enlisted the help of musician and actor, Israel Cannan (and a few of Israel’s mates who are handy with a camera) to get the job done. My initial concern was that it would not work but after seeing the end result I was more than pleasantly surprised and find myself loving the idea of two vastly different urbanisations being one.” Lloyd will soon be announcing a national tour to coincide with the impending release of ‘Urban Wilderness’ scheduled for late September 2013.
