The Plague

Long-time label residents Sergey Nevone and Simon O'Shine have teamed up once again for another massive release on Defcon with The Plague EP, which has already seen itself pick up plenty of massive A-list support! Both tracks share an emotional, post-apocalyptic theme that showcases the styles that have won Simon and Sergey legions of fans worldwide - soaring, classical strings, and immense, epic breakdowns to die for. Up first is Apprehension, a track that has already seen itself voted ASOT Future Favourite and already won the hearts and minds of innumerable trance-fans worldwide. On the flip-side we have The Robot's Time, a somewhat darker and more melancholy affair but which also retains the melodic, emotive elements that Simon and Sergey are renowned for. Rounding things off we're proud to welcome trance Gods themselves Aly & Fila to Defcon, with their special mix of Apprehension. Already featuring on Armin's new Universal Religion 7 compilation, this more club-friendly interpretation of the track has been destroying dancefloors throughout the summer and promises to be doing the same for a while longer yet!
