INDEPENDENCE

Kosheen s founding members of Sian Evans, Darren Decoder and Markee Substance found early success with their first album RESISTan album that sold over three quarters of a million a few years ago .The world agreed that they were something special. Their compelling anthemic track HIDE U reached number 6 in the UK ,while CATCH hit number 15 and HUNGRY number 13. The album RESIST hit number 8 in the UK and made the top 30 in most other territories.Two other albums followed, KOKOPELLI [charted at No.6 in the UK album chart] and DAMAGE both of which performed well but not well enough for the major label and soon the band and record company parted.Since then the band have continued to tour augmenting their line up to a 5 piece and visiting China, Russia, Australia and most European territories as well as the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Latvia and Estonia.In addition the band has formed it s own label and their new album INDEPENDENCE marks the label s first release.The Track SPIES will be the first single and will be heavily promoted at Radio and in the clubs.
