All Sides
LMNT is comprised of leftovers from the TV series Making the Band, which means they weren't even good enough for O-Town. That should give you a pretty good idea where these four singing, dancing, grinning boys stand. Their debut album is filled with post-millennium teen pop and all of its trappings: forced slang ("you got me trippin'"); suburban hip-hop touches; and a canned, manufactured sound that's both insincere and fake. They occasionally pull off a semi-clever line ("I just want you to know/I want to be your Romeo," they say to potential gal pal Juliet), but immediately follow it with a head-shaking clunker ("I think you're fine/You really blow my mind").
