Mononoke Kyoto
Renowned contemporary artist Takashi Murakami has held his first solo exhibition in eight years at a domestic museum, the "Takashi Murakami: Mononoke Kyoto" at the Kyoto City Kyocera Museum, attracting over 250,000 visitors in three months and garnering significant attention.
For this exhibition, the unit was formed with JP THE WAVY handling the theme song, which led to the digital release of the previously museum-exclusive theme song "Mononoke Kyoto."
Takashi Murakami also designed the artwork, featuring characters of both JP THE WAVY and Murakami himself.
Additionally, a music video was released on the same day. Directed by Spikey John, it was filmed at significant locations in Kyoto such as the Kyoto City Kyocera Museum, Gion Kobu Kaburenjo Theater, and Adashino Nenbutsu-ji Temple, making it a remarkable piece.
