This reissue of the original soundtrack recording features an extravagant 180-gram vinyl gatefold LP version and a CD with extensive liner notes by Italian soundtrack expert Roberto Zamori. Those looking for the kitsch and funky sound of classic '70s Morricone will find much to delight in here. Featuring sweeping minimalist string arrangements beautifully juxtaposed with more beat and funk passages, this is one of his more inspired early-'70s works.
