Moodmusic Records is thrilled to announce the much-anticipated re-release of Klas Lindblad's (aka Sasse, Freestyle Man) groundbreaking "Weekends" EP, originally released in 1998 on Neuton Music from Offenback Am Main. This seminal work, known for its innovative blend of Detroit Techno, Deep House and Minimal vibes, will be available once again in July 2024, remastered and ready to inspire a new generation of electronic music enthusiasts. The "Weekends" EP has been a pivotal release in the electronic music scene, featuring timeless tracks such as "Weekends," "Tokyo 5 A.M.," and "Gamla Stan." These tracks not only defined the late '90s club soundscape but also showcased Lindblad's exceptional production skills and musical foresight. Klas Lindblad, the Finnish producer and DJ behind the EP, has been an influential figure in the electronic music community for over two decades. His contributions to the industry as a producer, label owner, and curator have been instrumental in shaping the sounds of house and techno music in Scandinavia and beyond.
