Seasoned Veteran

Richie Rich is a good rapper, but he's not a great one, which means that the production has to be impeccable for the record to really take hold. Unfortunately, only a handful of songs -- "It's On," "Let's Ride," "Real Pimp" and the Tupac Shakur duet "Niggas Done Changed" -- make much of an impression, which leaves Seasoned Veteran a frustrating listen, especially in light of Richie Rich's long and underappreciated legacy in Californian rap.
