[00:00.53]I'm sure you're all aware that this week is national gall
[00:03.98]Bladder week and so as sort of an educational feature at
[00:12.28]This point i thought i would acquaint you with some of the
[00:14.51]Results of my recent researches into the career of the late
[00:16.54]Doctor samuel gall inventor of the gall bladder which
[00:24.91]With certainly ranks as one of the more important technological
[00:27.54]Advances since the invention of the joy buzzer and the dribble
[00:31.53]Glass
[00:33.31]Dr
[00:37.49]Dr gall's faith in his invention was so dramatically vindicated
[00:40.51]Last year as you no doubt recall when for the first time
[00:44.10]In history in a nationwide poll the gall bladder was voted
[00:47.50]Among the top ten organs
[00:59.17]His educational career began interestingly enough in
[01:02.65]Agricultural school where he majored in animal husbandry
[01:06.26]Until they caught him at it one day
[01:25.57]Whereupon whereupon he switched
[01:27.89]To the field of medicine in which field he also won renown as
[01:31.43]The inventor of gargling which prior to that time had been
[01:36.92]Practiced only furtively by a remote tribe in the andes who
[01:41.24]Passed the secret down from father to son as part of their
[01:44.67]Oral tradition
[01:53.32]He soon became a specialist specializing in diseases of the
[01:57.43]Rich he was therefore able to retire at an early age
[02:10.33]To the land we all dream about sunny mexico of course
[02:14.16]The last part of which is completely irrelevant as was the
[02:17.05]Whole thing i guess except it's a rather sneaky way of
[02:19.46]Getting into this next type of popular song which is one
[02:21.96]Of those things about that magic and romantic land south of
[02:25.75]The border
[02:35.54]When it's fiesta time in guadalajara
[02:46.67]Then i long to be back once again
[02:49.63]In old mexico
[02:54.67]Where we lived for today never giving a thought to tomara
[03:01.45]To the strumming of guitars
[03:03.23]In a hundred grubby bars
[03:05.26]I would whisper te amo
[03:09.53]The mariachis would serenade
[03:12.61]And they would not shut up till they were paid
[03:15.97]We ate we drank and we were merry
[03:18.96]And we got typhoid and dysentery
[03:26.14]But best of all we went to the plaza de toros
[03:29.57]Now whenever i start feeling morose
[03:32.06]I revive by recalling that scene
[03:39.35]And names like belmonte domingu'in and manolete
[03:43.20]If i live to a hundred and eighty
[03:45.76]I shall never forget what they mean
[03:56.52]For there is surely nothing more beautiful in this
[03:59.39]World than the sight of a lone man facing single-handedly
[04:04.62]A half a ton of angry pot roast
[04:16.24]Out came the matador
[04:17.65]Who must have been potted or
[04:19.85]Slightly insane but who looked rather bored
[04:25.50]Then the picadors of course
[04:27.12]Each one on his horse
[04:28.73]I shouted olé ev'ry time one was gored
[04:35.07]I cheered at the banderilleros' display
[04:38.11]As they stuck the bull in their own clever way
[04:40.91]For i hadn't had so much fun since the day
[04:44.39]My brother's dog rover
[04:46.62]Got run over
[04:52.99]Rover was killed by a pontiac and it was done
[04:57.31]With such grace and artistry that the witnesses awarded the
[05:01.18]Driver both ears and the tail but i digress
[05:16.17]The moment had come
[05:17.35]I swallowed my gum
[05:19.22]We knew there'd be blood on the sand pretty soon
[05:25.49]The crowd held its breath
[05:27.28]Hoping that death
[05:28.73]Would brighten an otherwise dull afternoon
[05:34.45]At last the matador did what we wanted him to
[05:38.14]He raised his sword and his aim was true
[05:40.82]In that moment of truth i suddenly knew
[05:46.52]That someone had stolen my wallet
[05:56.98]Now it's fiesta time in akron ohio
[06:08.01]But it's back to old guadalajara i'm longing to go
[06:15.31]Far away from the strikes of the af of l and cio
[06:22.19]How i wish i could get back
[06:24.22]To the land of the wetback
[06:25.88]And forget the alamo
[06:29.16]In old mexico
[06:33.77]Olé
