Ann Hallenberg, born March 17, 1967, is a Swedish opera singer (mezzo-soprano). She studied at the Academy of Music in Stockholm, where she had Kerstin Meyer and Erik Sædén as teachers. After graduating she went on to study in London for Joy Mammen. Hallenberg is internationally active and perhaps better known outside than in Sweden. She sings with love early music like Handel, Vivaldi, Bach and Gluck but also has sung Mozart, Rossini, Bizet and Wagner. She regularly visits the scenes as the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genova, Opéra National in Paris, the Opéra de Lyon, Opéra du Rhin Strasbourg, Bayerische Staatsoper Munich, Semperoper Dresden, Theater an der Wien, Netherlands Opera Amsterdam, Vlaamse Opera Antwerp , Staatsoper Stuttgart, the Opéra Garnier and the Opéra Monaco Montpellier. In Sweden, she has sung both Folkoperan, Opera and at Drottningholm Theatre.
