Born and raised in Rochester, New York, David is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music with a Bachelors Degree in Jazz Piano Performance. A two-time consecutive winner of DownBeat Magazine’s Student Music Awards for Outstanding Performance by a Jazz Vocalist. Influenced by his musical family, he was self taught by his grandfather on an old beaten upright in their garage before his music career took him across country and beyond including Off Broadway, “Our Sinatra," @ Birdland Jazz Club, Algonquin Hotel, Anchor Dueling Pianist @ Wynn Las Vegas hand picked by Steve Wynn himself and Piano Bar Entertainer/Headliner for Holland America, Crystal Cruise and most recent, ECP cruises.
