Phil Rey

Prolific composer, Phil Rey is a self-taught musician from Paris, France. His relentless hard work and ambition have landed his music for media in the hands of some of the most successful trailer music companies in the industry (Immediate Music, Impact Music, etc…).   Phil spent 15 years as a live performer before venturing into the world of soundtrack music. It was in the early 90s when he experienced his first “Atari” home studio; giving him an incredible look at what would eventually become his livelihood. From that time forward, Phil began building his music library and today his catalog consists of nearly 500 pieces of music, for all kind of medias.   Composing music for media allows Phil to use his vast imagination to create other worlds which by extension create beautiful visuals for the listener. While he is an incredibly versatile composer, with the ability to create music in various genres, each piece of music is crafted with colorful moods, atmospheres, and dynamic emotion; attention to quality as the common thread.   Phil graciously allows his music to be used for free as long as he is given visible credit and/or his music is not being used for commercial purposes.
