The Industrialism were a electronic/experimental music project of the musician, multi-instrumentalist and composer Cesar “M1A1” Alexandre, formed in 2008 and finished in 2011. M1A1 quoted that "The Industrialism were just a "test alias", but will continue making music, but with other alias. Cesar “M1A1″ Alexandre is the main musician, multi-instrumentalist, composer and mastermind acting on various projects, since 2006. Born in Visegrád, Hungary, but grown in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he started producing electronic music around the age of 8, but before this, he was a self-taught guitarist since he was 6. Influenced by survival horror games, his works ranges from idm, drill and bass, breakcore, ambient, drone, dub techno, glitch and chillout pieces, always mixing melodies influenced by isolation, nostalgia and sadness, mixed with fast and abrasive drum programming. M1A1 utilizes a wide array of analog and digital synths in his production as well as analog and digital drum machines, samplers and old school breakbeats, as the “amen break”. M1A1 also made extensive use of a variety of computer based sequencers, softsynths, and other applications, such as Max/MSP, Kyma and Pure Data. The song’s title contains “intentional” typos, junction of words, random and abstract words/names. M1A1 currently lives in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but his albums are recorded in various locations such as Seoul, South Korea and Osaka, Japan. M1A1 has been diagnosed with depression, schizophrenia, dissociative identity disorder, agoraphobia, body dysmorphic disorder, bipolar disorder and depersonalization disorder, which he admits is one of the reasons why touring has been increasingly difficult for him.
