Sarah Jane Nelson
At age 17 Sarah Jane set out from her hometown of Monroe, Louisiana to conquer New York City. Since then, she made her Broadway debut in The Green Bird and starred on Broadway and on the the 1st National Tour of SWING. Other acting credits include The Canterbury Tales at The Guthrie Theatre, Michelle Philips in the Off-Broadway Production of The Mama’s and Papa’s Musical, the original cast of Radiant Baby directed by George C. Wolfe at the Public Theatre, Sylvie in El Paso Blue off-Broadway at the 1st annual Summer Play Festival on Theatre Row and two seasons at The Oregon Shakespeare Festival. On television she played Lori King, the murderous con-artist in The District on CBS. Other TV credits include Guiding Light and New York Undercover. She has been seen and heard on numerous commercials and voice overs including Arby’s, AT&T, Pantene, Game Show Network, and the Oxygen Network. Nelson studied playwrighting at Fordham Universtiy at Lincoln Center and participated in the Skidmore College University Without Walls Program. Nelson currently resides with her husband (actor Rene Millan) and two children in Los Angeles, California.
