Tanya Blount

Tanya Blount is originally from Maryland, near the Washington DC area. After graduating from high school, she attended Morgan State University, where she majored in psychology. She toured with the MSU choir and even sang for Stevie Wonder in California. Her younger sister later followed her footsteps and attended Morgan as well. Her older bother, Willy, is also an outstanding vocalist and performed with the MSU choir for a short time. After a short marriage to first husband, Sherman, Tanya Blount gave birth to a son. She is now married to gospel recording artist, Greg O'Quinn. They live in Texas and attend The Potter's House, where T.D. Jakes is pastor.
