Nolan The Ninja

Nolan Chapman, also known as ‘Nolan The Ninja’, is a 23-year old emcee & producer from Detroit, MI. Hailing from the hometown of likes such as J. Dilla (Slum Village) & Eminem, the young ninja maintains a pressure-free determined path through his own style of recordings & instrumentals. With influences such as Q-Tip (A Tribe Called Quest) & Redman, Nolan delivers a special blend of two different styles; nostalgic yet modernized. Through his beats & rhymes, he manages to display his self-acclaimed “ill sh-t”. But, the “ill sh-t” is nothing but a derivation from his genuine love for the culture of hip-hop. He has performed at several venues in various states such as Saint Andrews Hall, New York, The Majestic Theater, Atlanta (A3C), etc. He has also received co-signs from well-known underground hip-hop names such as Guilty Simpson, Nick Speed, Waajeed & more. Aside from co-signs, he has also gained exposure on popular outlets such as New York’s HOT 97, Metro Times, The Fader, XXL, etc. Ultimately, Nolan The Ninja is a promising placement within the genre of hip-hop.
