Charlotte Moorman
Madeline Charlotte Moorman Garside (November 18, 1933 – November 8, 1991) was an American cellist and performance artist, known especially for her long term close collaboration with Nam June Paik. Moorman also organized the Avant Garde Festivals in New York City.She was referred to as the "Jeanne d'Arc of new music" for her advocacy of avant-garde music.
