Mark Curtis

Mark Curtis was born in Hertfordshire and studied at the Royal Northern College of Music under Frederic Cox and subsequently at the National Opera Studio. Awarded the Leverhulme Award at Glyndebourne in 1981, he studied further with Maestro Campogaliani in Mantua. He has performed with the Royal Opera and Ballet, Scottish Opera, the Garsington and Buxton Festivals, some fourteen roles with Opera North, with Kent Opera, Opera Ireland, de Vlaamse Opera, Tours Opera, Theatre de la Monnaie, and in Strasbourg, Toulouse, Neuchatel and Geneva.
