Polaris

POLARIS is a six-piece metalcore band from Sydney's south.   After forming a complete lineup in mid-2012, the band released their debut single "Summit" in October of that year and began playing regular shows over the course of the next year, branching out of Sydney and into the greater NSW region and eventually earning support slots with local and international acts such as Born of Osiris, Upon A Burning Body, Oh, Sleeper, I, The Breather, In Hearts Wake and Buried In Verona.   May 2013 saw the band head into STL Studios with producer/engineer Sonny Truelove, to record their six-track debut EP, "Dichotomy", which was mixed and mastered by William Putney at Machine Shop Studios.
