“Excalibur” is a Symphonic metal group from Orel which combines all the best.   Valeria Nikiforova - vocal Vitaly Okoneshnikov - guitar Svyatoslav Bykovsky - bass Xenia Aranchei - keys Andrey Nazarov - drums   The group started on the 17th of January 2009 in the club “Respect”. Inspite of a rather story, and a frequent change of the staff the group has a number of important releases of Russian metal underground: EP “In the Fate Hand’s” (2011), Internet-single “In Embrace of Night” (2011), full-format albums “Excalibur” (2011), “Soul” (2013).   A new album appeared in the day of the group’s birthday. This release is sure to be considered as a new step in the group’s creative development: powerful sounding of orchestral parts, the guitar solo, performed with virtuosity, vocal singing full of felling and thought out lyrics put the album on the level of the best representatives of the Symphonic metal genre.   The main themes of the lyrics are closely connected with a person’s inner world. The deepest feelings and human’s experience come to the first plan and listening to the lyrics everyone can recognize his own thoughts and feelings.   Having recorded the full format album the group “Excalibur” does not think about rest. The band is working on an Internet-single, the issue of which is going to be in spring 2013.   Listeners and fans can always feel this mad whirlwind of music and lyrics, that captures them with its diverse.   “Excalibur” is a successfully touring band, a constant participant of festivals in Central Russia.
