Niña Dioz
Straight from the underground of Monterrey, Mexico, Niña Dioz is a part of the “Nueva Escuela” (New School) of MCs in Mexico and has been making a name for herself in the male-dominated scene. Her unique style and look set her apart immediately and she has spent the last few years creating music, releasing mixtapes, and setting up her own tours that have taken her all across Mexico, as well as Argentina, Chile, Los Angeles, New York City and even Nepal! Niña Dioz has worked with many well-known Latin Urban producers including Alejandro Rosso from Plastilina Mosh, Toy Selectah from Control Machete, Erick Santos de La Flor De Lengua y DJ Milkman. She takes her role in furthering the exposure of Latin Hip Hop seriously and in October of 2012 she single handedly organized the first Urban Music festival in Mexico City called Urban New Wavers. The event took place in the BlackBerry Auditorium and included performances by top Latin DJs and rappers on front of an audience of more than 2,000 people. In 2012 she was also selected to be the official Spanish voice of the Levi's® Go Forth campaign, which aired in the USA and Latin American, was the only Latin performer at the Hunnypot showcase for the Billboard Film & TV conference, and was the opening act for the West Coast leg of Omar Rodriguez’s (Mars Volta) fall tour.
