London based label Days Of Being Wild has been growing steadily since its creation by Franz Kirmann and Jérome “Catalepsia” Bazzanella, in January 2009. Originally set up as an output for the two French expats productions, the label has now turned into a respected and well established purveyor of fine edgy dance music and home to many diverse techno artists. It’s in September 2011 that things really kick into gear for Days Of Being Wild with the release of Catalepsia’s “Les Seigneurs”. The record strikes a chord with many influential Djs in Europe and worldwide including Ivan Smagghe who really takes on to play it everywhere, even including it in his mix CD for french magazine Tsugi, alongside Marc Piñol and John Talabot. The past 12 months have seen Days Of Being Wild open to other artists and remixers such as Los Lopez, It’s A Fine Line, Chloé, Scott Fraser, Naum Gabo and more, establishing the label firmly on the map of a certain free spirited, DIY scene alongside big brothers like Correspondent, Kill The DJ or Throne Of Blood. 2013 looks set to become an important year for the label as they team up with Monofunk to organise showcases in Spain and Europe, bringing with them exciting new talents as well as established beloved artists and Djs.
