Conrad
After putting down roots in a town situated in the heart of California named Madera Ranchos, Conrad packed a bag of clothes and caught the quickest train to Los Angeles to follow his passion for music. Growing up he attended Webster Elementary and graduation from Liberty High School. Conrad has repeatedly credited his education at these schools as the catalyst for his love of music and the dedication that has evolved his work ethic. “I’m blessed to have attended schools that have teachers who honestly care about students, and want everyone to succeed.” So with forty dollars in his wallet Conrad made his way to Los Angeles, even under the constant question of others if it was all worth it. “Everyone’s always scared of taking chances, and of course I was scared and I didn’t know where I was going to stay but I didn’t care. I knew what I wanted to do, and I was going to make it happen. You never know what’s going to happen, but you have to take the chance or you will never know.” Conrad, after a year of struggling with a small indie record label and management company that ultimately didn’t have his best interests at heart, decided to part ways and strive to complete his dreams the only way he knew; by doing his absolute best and settling for nothing less. Launching his own record label named Volumeline Entertainment, Conrad immediately started production on his first album. During that time he worked with world-renowned producers, Drew Ryan Scott (Varisty Fanclub, Willow Smith, Hannah Montana, Jonas Brother), Sean Alexander (Avenue 52, Donny Klang, Hannah Montana), and Mario Marchetti (JoJo, Girlicious, The Black Eyed Peas). “I wanted to be a part of everything. I wanted to sit and write on each song and I knew that that was the only way I could truly say these were my songs… about my life.”
