Ryal
RYAL singer/songwriter is Jacque Ryal's eponymous story of self-discovery and finding ones own rhythm. Time Out NY calls Jacque Ryal the "angelic-voice keyboardist of atmospheric indie pop outfit Strip Darling", but she now takes a dive into a deeper whisper and shout with a genre labeled "disco pop". Beginning in August 2014 through 2015, RYAL released a handful of singles, starting with City Lives, Human Kind, and Lonely Love with two remixes to support the latter. All tracks produced by RYAL's writing partner, Aaron Nevezie of The Bunker Studios in Brooklyn. The Music Times says, “A notable departure from RYAL'S moody Strip Darling, inspires comparisons to LCD Sound System, Blondie, The Pretenders and everything disco”. The Wild Honey Pie says “A debut like this one goes to show that not only is RYAL too damn cool, but that she could easily be pop royalty". My Old Kentucky Blog says "New York charmer RYAL, has been able to walk the line so far with passionate anthems in a similar vein of Florence and the Machine, while keeping one foot in a more sensual terrain". RYAL's music can be heard in Starbucks, Abercrombie & Fitch, Forever 21 and Tilly’s stores nationwide. RYAL'S EP will release February 19th, 2016. http://www.ryal.tv/ https://soundcloud.com/jacqueryal https://www.facebook.com/jacque.ryal
